Purchased to replace a smaller steamer that still works, but mostly to use at home in lieu of pulling out the ironing board. It's a large size with a good size plate. Can use while clothing is being hung, or flat on ironing board. Clear instruction booklet in box, long cord, decent inner container to hold water. Instructions do state that you must use distilled water and empty after each use.I've not used yet, and will provide an update in a couple of days.UPDATE as of 7.22.24: I have used the steamer twice as my clothes were hanging, and it works very well! On the first instance, I steamed three lite weight cardigans of polyester and spandex, and a maxi dress (spandex) on one fill of distilled water, so the number of items may vary on the piece and material involved. It heats up within 20-30 seconds, and when you don't use the steaming component, it acts as a dry iron. Good choice for the monies spent, and empty the water when finish using.
