This is a really great addition to my clothing care kit. I steamed two dresses tonight, and didn't feel any heat or steam at all through these. I have almost burned myself a couple of times using other products, so this was a welcome change.I want to note a couple of very handy features, the finger loop and the hanging loop. The finger loop keeps them on your hands without you having to actively hold onto them, and the hanging loops help make these easy to store on my garment rack near my streamer.They are quite thick though, (which is why they are so protective,) but I did find them a touch awkward to use at first. Once you get the hang of them though they work quite well.These steamer mitts definitely have kept my hands from being scorched when steaming a shirt or pair of pants. I really like the stiffness of them which keeps the clothes you're steaming straight and flat. The finger loop keeps them on your hand and where you want the mitt. In the best way possible, these are like wearing an ironing board on your hand. It makes steaming easier and more efficient. I used to pull the clothes taut attached to a hanger and steam that way which sometimes didn't work out the way I wanted it to. With these mitts, I can just run the mitted hand underneath the steamer and get a nice pressed look without the chance of pulling the clothes off of the hanger or the hanger off of the closet door. This definitely ups my steaming game and shaves time off my steaming regimen. A great addition to my steaming equipment.I got the grey color and when they came they were thicker than what I thought they would be.Feel safe using the steamer and knowing that your hands are hidden under the amazing material.There is a rounder on and the other has more of a point. There is a simple finger holder under a mesh backing that hold the glove in one place.They thought of everything by including two EASY to apply hangars that can go on the wall so they are convenient whenever you need them.Something I didn't think I needed but now that I have them - the steamer I have will be used way more. You can also use these with an iron.This is one of those products I didn’t even know existed or that i needed it, until I put it to use. I got a new steamer, and it gets pretty hot when in use, so these now are a necessity, for avoiding burning fingers and hands.They fit snuggly, just like a mitten, especially with the finger loop, but have that nice shape, like an iron, to help with proper creases if needed. The fabric is a cute bonus, the stars are dainty and fun. I love that it came in a set, in case one wears out, and the hooks are a nice bonus, so I can hang up near the steamer, in my laundry space.These steaming pads were thoughtfully designed, it's convenient to have the two different shapes available to fit into different items. The little finger loops work well to help keep the pad positioned on your hand. They are nice & thick to prevent feeling the heat. The material appears to be durable & the white on silver flower pattern is pretty.I was looking for a regular ironing board on Amazon and came across these :). Such a great invention, who would have thunk? Before having these, I was trying to pull the shirt hanging on a hanger with one hand while trying to steam iron with another. It was very hard to get all the wrinkles out especially in the shoulder areas. In other areas, I could still use a regular iron and just any flat surface but the shoulder areas are the hardest for me to iron without a regular iron board. Now, when these gloves, make my job a lot easier and getting those wrinkles on the shoulders is more effective using these gloves with a steam iron. These gloves are lightweight but thick enough to protect my hands from the steam iron. Very mobile, easy to use, and carry when traveling as well.I really needed this because the little glove that came with my fabric steamer was like child sized. I couldn't even get my hand in it. This is more the size of the bottom of an iron and is nice and thick so that it will be much more useful for backing the fabric while I am steaming. I highly suggest getting this glove if you steam your shirts after washing them.
