This worked great! Heats up fast and does an excellent job taking out wrinkles.I bought and carried this steamer for traveling abroad several weeks ago. This steamer is small enough for traveling and storage in the luggage, powerful enough to keep my shirts and pants wrinkle-free. Very good product!To it's credit, it makes good steam. Seems like a solid piece of equipment. Unfortunately, I am travelling to Asia and need 220V capability. Returned.My daughters are both in competitive dance. Their costumes have to be wrinkle free and smooth. This one is small enough to take with me in the bag. Heats up quickly, ready to go. Quick and easy! Rhe water hole is big enough to be able to use a water bottle on the go. So thankful!Bought this for my daughter who is a flight attendant to refresh and de-wrinkle her uniforms and on the first time to use it did not work. As she was traveling she was unable to bring it back to us before the return period had expired. Another piece of expensive junk. BEWARE.Love this steamer. Works wonderfully. Wish it had a longer cord & a bigger water well so I dnt have to refill it quite so often. People talking about hearing a boiling & sputtering sound… the water is probably low, just add more water, let it warm up for a few minutes by turning it on & pushing the red button & that will stop. Once the sputtering stops, begin ironing. When it starts making the boiling sound, I know it’s time to add water. If it sputters water when u first fill it, it’s prob because it’s a bit overfilled… just let it run for a few minutes & it will steam out the excess & stop sputtering water. There will be an occasional water spot (all steamers will do this from time to time), but it dries fairly quickly and leaves no water mark behind (in my experience so far). Also, holding the bottom of the item tight while ironing makes the material go from wrinkled to brick straight like magic. This goes for ALL steamers… holding the material taught (or tight) is how u get a perfect iron on it. It’s not specific to this product, it’s just steam ironing etiquette. My hubby watched me iron the wrinkled curtains & was amazed how well this thing worked. I really feel like this was worth the money. It is very well made & most of the complaints I see here are things that ALL steamers will do, u just have to learn how to work with it. Keep it filled with water, but don’t use it while it’s overfilled with water & lastly, if u can, hold the material tight at the top or bottom while ironing for perfect results.So far so good. Hubby wanted one of those big floor model steamers but I talked him into this one. He was reluctant at first but when he tried it on his suit and tie he was surprised and very impressed. I just hope this steamer will last a long time.It is a relatively small size handhold iron, very convenient to use. I used a corduroy clothes to test and it irons the clothes within 1 min, the picture itself demonstrates the effect. Soooo like it.
